A Scenic Getaway with Room for Improvement
The picturesque grounds were a highlight during our stay. We loved the wine tasting experience, especially the knowledgeable staff. However, our check-in was rocky, and noise from nearby events made it hard to relax. Consider visiting on a weekday for a quieter stay.

I loved the beautiful grounds at Chateau Elan. The property is incredibly well-kept, making it a perfect escape in the Georgia hills. I enjoyed the spa experience, which provided a nice touch of relaxation, but it felt a bit limited in facilities. My room was clean but showed signs of wear and could use an update. There was some mildew in the shower, which needed attention. Dining options were nice but pricey. I found some of the food quality lacking, especially given the cost. Staff at the front desk were attentive, but some housekeeping services were inconsistent, leaving towels and trash behind during turn down. The pool area was great, but the hot tub needed better maintenance as it wasn't operating properly.

Upon check-in, we were disappointed to find our room filled with cobwebs and spiders.

Breathtaking grounds, complete with vineyards that create a picturesque setting for wine tastings. The wellness amenities excel, offering a fantastic spa experience that promotes relaxation and tranquility.
Upon arrival, we discovered our King Room faced a gravel driveway, diminishing the secluded atmosphere we expected. Cleanliness issues caught our attention, with cobwebs in the corners and hints of mildew in the shower, which didn't align with the luxury pricing. Communication could have been smoother. we noticed the front desk didn't provide sufficient details about amenities, including limited winery hours. Dining options also fell short. with a significant number of places closed on the holiday, we found it frustrating to discover limited food availability when we wanted to celebrate.

Spent a nice weekend here. The winery offers great views and excellent wine tasting experiences. The restaurant food needed improvement. Service at dinner was slow and a bit underwhelming. The golf course looked nice, but the amenities felt crowded. Overall, a decent getaway but can improve on dining quality.

The beautiful property offered excellent amenities, notably the spa services and the responsive staff. It was enjoyable to relax outside the tasting room with a glass of wine, and brunch at the Spa was particularly delightful. However, the pool area felt overcrowded, making it challenging to secure a lounge chair, and the wait for cleaning was frustrating. Additionally, the strong chemical scents in the bathroom detracted from the experience.

The wine tasting and spa were highlights. The proximity to Georgia's state parks offered some great hiking spots! Just a heads up, the dining options can be a bit hit or miss, so maybe plan ahead. Overall, the grounds are stunning.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing, particularly at Marc restaurant where the food didn't meet our expectations.

Chateau Elan offers stunning grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. The wine tasting experience was enjoyable, with knowledgeable staff who made it fun. The outdoor seating at the winery was perfect for relaxing with a glass. I appreciated the beautiful pool area and the food options at the Irish pub were quite good. The room, a King Room, was spacious and clean, but it could use some updates. The bed was comfortable, but some furniture felt outdated. During my stay, I did face issues with service. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and I encountered long waits at check-in. Also, I noticed some cleanliness issues around the pool area, with food debris left unattended. Noise levels during the night were bothersome, with loud guests disturbing the peace. While the locations have charm, some attention to detail is needed to enhance the experience.
